If you are coming from the south, north or east via the A10 take the A414 turnoff to Hertford. Follow the A414 to hertford for 3/4 Mile onto London Road. Go straight over the next roundabout (2nd exit) and carry on for 1/2 mile to the next roundabout. Turn Left (1st exit) onto Gascoyne Way. Carry straight passing a church on your left, on to the next roundabout and turn left (1st exit) into Hale Road.
Hale road will bear right and you should pass Richard Hale school on your left. You will come up to a mini roundabout. Go straight over the min roundabout and into the East Herts council/Royal Sun Alliance car park. Hertford Bowls Club is at the end of the car park.
If you are coming from the south or west via the A1 turn off at Junction 4 and take the A414 into Hertford. Once you pass Waterford's Peugeot Garage on your left and Gates Ford Garage on your right, turn right at the next roundabout (3rd exit) into Hale Road and follow directions as above.
If coming from the north via the A1 turn off at junction 7 and follow the A119 into Hertford.Keep going until you reach the junction with the A414 and turn left onto the A414. Then follow directions as above.
