We will be holding pre-season Welcome Days, which will be open to anyone interested in trying out the game or just meeting with present Club Members and getting to know what makes us tick! The dates have yet to be fixed but will be during the month of May 2011

The game of Lawn Bowls is not particularly strenuous and you can play as much or as little as you like; competitive or just friendlies, all options are open to every member of the Club.

 We have a qualified coach within the Club and Jim is more than willing to give guidance and instruction on how to play the game and will provide good information on the etiquette of the game.

Our pre-season Meeting of all Club Members will be held at the Clubhouse from 7pm on Monday 21 March. This is the annual event before the start of the season when members meet and pay their annual subscription and confirm their participation in the Club Competitions, which will run throughout the summer season.

This same meeting will welcome any new members who have been in touch with us during the winter and need to understand more fully what is entailed in being a member of Hertford Bowls Club.
