Well this was my final game in charge as captain as Ken is due back from holiday and my Hertford members did me proud and came up with a very impressive win. My thanks to Malcolm, the visiting captain, and to all rinks as it was the most enjoyable game and the laughter and joyful conversations meant the day went well.

We won 109-89 overall. On this occasion the shot of the day went to a player from Hoddesdon Rosehill who played the most incredible shot against Norman Cook's rink. The look on Normans face said it all! The bowl would have been more appropriately placed on a Pin-Ball machine! Also a big thank you to Gloria who has helped so much with organizing the games while Ken has been away. I do hope you enjoyed your present Regards Andrew
